A restructure of the board of directors of the center has been done in accordance with article (3) of the statute of the center of translation, authorship and publication, as this decision was made by the university's board on its fifth session for the academic year of 1430/ 1431 AH, as follows:

- The Technical departments.
- Authoring and editing department: taking over the process of editing, as well as the technical examination of books and literatures that provide for publication after the approval of the Scientific Council of the university on publishing it. Also taking over the lingual review and determining the most appropriate specification for printing books and literatures. Also taking over reviewing printing tests and following up the literature until it comes out in its final form.
- Translation and Arabization Department: and it means to receive the originals of the books and the translated literatures after the approval of the Scientific Council on publishing it, and ensuring its compatibility with the regulations and controls of translation in operation in the center. Also it seeks to ensure that the translator will get the translation right from the original right holders (publisher or author) and then transferring the books and the publications to the editorial department to perform technical editing and the required review. This department seeks to create scientific and technical lexicons, and translating the most important books into Arabic, and contributing to the Arabization of the curriculum, and enriching the Arabization movement in its wider sense.
- Information department: It facilitating the access of researchers, authors, and translators to non-electronic sources of information, such as books, dictionaries, lexicons, terminology banks, scouts, encyclopedia and scientific research evidence, ect. And it also facilitates the access to the electronic sources of the local, regional and international information, such as: Information Technology Center at King Faisal University, and the data basis which are connected with the other research centers in Saudi Arabia, as the data base of Science and Technology in King Abdulaziz City, and the Gulf's Information Network, and the International data basis, and other Specialized Worldwide Networks which are related.
- Publication and Distribution department: This department receives the printed materials after the completion of its printing. And depositing it arranged in specific places, and then delivering it to the beneficiaries in coordination with the editorial department and this through the channels of distribution and outlets, also the department is working on marketing the intellectual output of university professors.
- Administrative department: It facilitates the necessary communications and the administrative correspondence of the books and publications, whether it was with authors and translators, or with the Scientific Council, as well as the printing press.
- University Press: specializes in printing the translated and authored books, and preparing it perfectly. It also prepares all the publications of the university and its colleges, and its scientific centers such as posters, brochures and the administrative and the financial models, and others.
