Station' general view
The Station of King Faisal University is considered one of the important and basic departments for their efforts completing the activities of the university’s academic colleges especially in the fields of agricultural sciences, food and veterinary medicine and animal wealth. Thus, the Station is the principle & main field of training programs for university students who are studying in these fields and it is one of the most important of the university departments for applied scientific research. The Station also has an active and prominent role on serving the society in general of Eastern Province and specifically of Alhassa.
The training and research Station of Agricultural and Veterinary of King Faisal University was established under Royal Decree No. 30/M/3388 dated on 27/2/1397 E. The station is located on the road leading to the countries of Gulf Cooperation Council in Aldleiligiah in the Governorate of Alhassa. The Station is on an estimated area of six hundred Hectares (6 square Kilometers). It is 15 kilometers away from King Faisal University’s main headquarters at Hafouf.
