The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences was founded to fulfil the requirement
of the college of Dentistry curriculum, applying the most current resources, knowledge, and techniques in
the management of diseases, defects and deformities of the oral and maxillofacial region.
The Department has remained loyal to the founding mission of the College of Dentistry by providing
the environment for educating and training future dentists, a commitment to clinical research and clinical
services to a broad spectrum of patients with routine and complex clinical challenges.
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department includes the Oral medicine and oral radiology divisions.
