Dean’s Word:

I’m delighted to welcome you in the Faculty of Science’s site – the University of King Faisal whereon the Faculty was established based on the high-minded kind prestige’s sanction # 7/B/10522 in 1/4/1423 H whereby approves incorporating a number of science departments in the University’s scientific Faculties into in the governorate of Ehsaa into one faculty, such decision came upon a lengthy study of which taken its time on the pressing need for that Faculty, for the following goals:

Preparing the necessary human cadres of graduates who work in several practical fields in the universities, ministries and companies. Encouraging and engaging into scientific practices to uplift the scientific research to cope up with the latest developments in the basic sciences. Preparing the scientifically distinguished cadres to continue the postgraduate studies for obtaining the master’s and doctorate degree.

Interacting with the society and offering services and granting scientific consultations for the different sectors of the society

Interchanging expertise and scientific sufficiency with the similar faculties in the Kingdom

This sufficiency is currently consisting from four main departments which are:

1) The Physics department

2) The chemistry department

3) The Biology department

4) The mathematics department

The Faculty grants bachelor's degree in the sciences disciplines of chemistry, biology and mathematics as well as the master’s degree in both disciplines of chemistry and biology. The Faculty teaches the basic sciences curriculums to all Al Ehsaa University’s students, as well as granting academic and scientific consultation and the scientific innovative researches. Also organizing the continuous education programs (courses, teach-ins and departments) aimed at raising the level of the scientific skill of which is rich upon the University’s associates and those who are interested in science.
