Development and Quality Assurance

Introduction

The College of Computer Science and Information Technology is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence, development, and quality assurance. Its academic programs are designed to meet international educational standards, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive, high-quality education. The body responsible for monitoring and reviewing the implementation of quality standards is the Development and Quality Assurance Committee.

Responsibilities of the Development and Quality Assurance Committee

  1. Following up on all publications issued by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) and the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance.
  2. Evaluating the quality of educational, research, and community service activities within the college.
  3. Promoting and raising awareness of quality culture within the college.
  4. Reviewing course evaluation reports and issuing appropriate recommendations.
  5. Following up on the implementation of course and program reports.
  6. Preparing an annual plan for training needs.
  7. Proposing mechanisms to incentivize excellence and creativity.
  8. Implementing the requirements of King Faisal University's Quality Management System.
