The College was established by Royal Decree No. 5088 dated 08/07/1432 AH, corresponding to 07/08/2011. It is located on the University's main campus near the Medical Complex. The College offers bachelor's degrees in four Applied Medical Sciences disciplines needed by healthcare providers in the Kingdom: Nursing, Public Health, Clinical Nutrition, and Health Informatics. It also strives to introduce additional health-related disciplines and continuously develop its programs in response to labor market needs. With the growing demand for these vital disciplines, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, the College has received increasing support from the University's senior administration, led by His Excellency the University President, may Allah protect him.
Based on the KFU President's guidance, the College strives for excellence in education, adherence to quality standards, and accreditation by international educational institutions. The College is currently seeking academic accreditation for three distinguished programs: the Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Nursing, and Bachelor of Public Health programs. These efforts will further enhance graduates' competitiveness in the labor market.
The College administration works closely with its personnel to provide a stimulating academic environment and foster a strong sense of community among all members of the College, with students at the heart of its efforts. The College aspires to rank among distinguished health education institutions locally and regionally by offering typical academic programs, attracting highly qualified academic professionals, carefully selecting students, promoting scientific research, adopting high-quality community service programs, and establishing partnerships with leading medical centers in the Eastern Province. Through these efforts, the College seeks to address the growing healthcare needs of citizens and provide healthcare services worthy of their expectations, in alignment with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
The College also offers high-quality professional and internship training programs and is committed to instilling professional ethics, national belonging, lifelong learning, critical thinking, leadership and teamwork skills, and a strong sense of health, social, and ethical responsibility. We pray to Almighty Allah that this important College will become a beacon of scientific advancement in the health field, a recognized center of expertise and consultancy in all aspects of healthcare, and a major contributor to community service in our beloved country. Finally, we stand fully ready to support you in achieving your academic and professional aspirations.
