Admission Requirements
Admission to the MPS program will be dependent on meeting the following criteria:
1.Saudi citizens or non-Saudi citizens who hold an official grant for graduate studies and have successfully completed of a PharmD program at the COCP, KFU or other accredited Universities within or outside Saudi Arabia recognized by the University Council of the KFU, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. Successful completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy program (BPharm or PharmD) at universities recognized by the senate of the KFU, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3.A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75 at the PharmD or BPharm programs is required for application for the MPS program at the COCP, KFU.
4.Two letters of recommendations from academic referees, such as professors, who are knowledgeable about candidate's potential, and can comment validly on areas such as academic prowess, capability to cope with an intensive postgraduate program and research promise. The reference letters are expected to provide detailed information about the candidate's experience in laboratory research, ability for independent, innovative and critical thinking, and proficiency in communicating in verbal and written English.
5.Admission to the MPS program shall be full-time and offered to candidates who satisfied the COCP with verifiable evidence that that they have the consent of their employers and have been released officially to undertake full-time studies. Candidates found to have made false declaration concerning this shall be asked to withdraw from the program.
6.Each student will be admitted into only one of the four available tracks within the MPS program; and no student will be allowed to switch into any other track.
