Message from the Head of Department
I had the privilege of being the head of the department to have initiated the first Master program at the college of clinical pharmacy. This is the collective efforts of all the faculty members, college staff, study plan and quality assurance committee. I am proud of you all.
Our program is designed to give our students a broader perspective in applied pharmaceutical knowledge and research, to develop the students' research initiatives using integrated pharmaceutical sciences based approach in practice setting. The program includes rigorous training in lab to develop their research skills in a variety of analytical approaches, enabling them to plan for their advance research for doctoral studies in future.
The first program handbook is in your hand now. This is primarily to guide and help the students and to introduce them to the Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences. It includes the admission requirements and procedures, degree requirements, rules and regulations pertaining to academic discipline and conduct. The book is also to guide the students on where-to-go, if they need help or face any kind of issue while being at the COCP. Brief description of all the courses contained in the handbook, is to enable the students to plan their academic activities and to choose from the available elective courses. Introduction of the faculty members with their research areas is also included to give students the needed support to select suitable research topics of their interest and guides. The list of COCP state of art lab facilities is also included for the same purpose.
We welcome you to our Master Program in Pharmaceutical sciences and invite you all to use the handbook to learn more about us, our department, and our program. You are free to contact any staff or myself in case you have any question or need any further assistance.
Welcome you again !!
