Dr. Ahmed got his B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt in 2004. In 2008, he joined King Khalid university as a teaching assistant in department of Clinical Pharmacy for three years. Then In 2013 got Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy (MPharm) from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. After that, he joined Collage of Clinical Pharmacy King Faisal University. Al Hufof and worked as a Clinical Lecturer and Preceptor in department of Pharmacy practice. During 2016 (for 10 months), he attend an online course from Harvard T.H.CHAN School of Public Health entitled “Principles and Practice of Clinical Research”.
Currently he is a Coordinator and instructor of a course entitled "Drug information services and evidence-based medicine" presented to undergraduate PharmD students. The course covers the principles of evidence-based medicine, medical information resources, literature evaluation, and clinical biostatistics. In addition, he precepting the intern students during APPE Psychiatry rotation in Al Ahsaa Psychiatric Hospital. Providing pharmaceutical care services to patients and suggesting suitable interventions to the healthcare team. He performing many training courses for healthcare provider in using information resources and safe use of psychotropic medications any public awareness lectures for safe use of medications. His area of interest is medication safety for psychotropic, antidiabetic and anticoagulants medications, clinical research methodology and study design.
