Student Activities
The Deanship is responsible for implementing and supervising the various student activities. It is entrusted with preparing students educationally, socially, culturally, and physically in a safe environment that provides comfort and psychological stability, helps them adapt to university education, and positively contributes to their academic excellence. It also emphasizes the consolidation of Islamic principles and values and the heritage of this generous nation through various lectures and seminars.
Student activity consists of a range of cultural, social, artistic, and sports programs practiced by students during their free time away from classrooms, enabling them to develop positively toward specific goals they seek to achieve, with students being both the primary focus and purpose of these activities.

To make student activities the primary outlet for students to display their talents and develop their diverse skills.
Mission
To provide a range of cultural, social, artistic, technical, and sports activities tailored to all students, aimed at discovering their talents, developing their skills, and enriching their knowledge in ways that build their character and protect them from potential risks, within a safe environment that enables them to adapt to and engage effectively with university life and society.

For the Sports Activity Administration to be a leading center for discovering students’ sporting talents and developing them.

To provide diverse sports activities that fulfill students’ interests and needs in a way that contributes to developing their talents and creativity and equipping them with knowledge and skills that build their personalities in a safe environment.

Human Resources
The Administration comprises a group of qualified sports specialists capable of training and assisting students in practicing sports. The Administration also includes a number of supervisors and trainers in various sports who possess the competence and expertise required for training.
Physical Resources
The Administration has several facilities designated for sports activities, including:

The University Sports Hall, which includes courts for volleyball, basketball, badminton, and billiards.

The Fitness Hall, which contains six courts.

The University Sports Stadium, which contains a football pitch, a running track, and other facilities.

Outdoor Sports Fields: These include an 11-a-side football field, a 6-a-side artificial-turf football field, a walking track, and a large open area.

Video Game Hall: It includes television screens and Sony gaming consoles.

Chess Hall: Equipped with chairs and tables with chess sets, accommodating up to 20 students.
Volunteer Work Unit
Vision
Promoting a culture of volunteerism among University affiliates, increasing the number of volunteers, and enhancing high-quality volunteer opportunities and institutional practices in volunteer work to serve the University and society through this vital sector as a core function of King Faisal University, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to reach one million volunteers annually.

Volunteer Work Incentives and Recognition of Volunteers’ Efforts

Introducing digital volunteer membership cards for University affiliates, offering various benefits and incentives, including service and monetary advantages.

Granting honorary membership at King Faisal University to holders of the Gold Giving Card and the Diamond Giving Card, including a number of benefits such as priority in external and internal trips and programs for volunteers, as well as priority in using University facilities and services.

Adding volunteer work and community service points to the University admission criteria for applicants to bachelor’s and postgraduate programs or to positions advertised on the University website.

Launching the University President’s Award initiative for volunteer work. The award is granted for the best volunteer initiative and the highest number of volunteer hours registered on the University’s Volunteer Work Platform, in recognition of outstanding volunteers at the end of the academic year.

Honoring outstanding male and female volunteers through an award from His Excellency the University President during the annual volunteer work forum, held in conjunction with Saudi and International Volunteer Day, in recognition of their effective contribution to serving the University and society.
