General Objective

Providing high-quality office and support services to the Vice President for Development and Community Partnerships.


Responsibilities

  1. Preparing the plans and policies of the Vice Presidency for Development and Community Partnership and following up on their implementation after approval.
  2. Supervising the preparation of plans and programs of the deanships and administrative units affiliated with the Vice Presidency and following up on their implementation after approval.
  3. Proposing regulations and instructions related to development and community partnership and following up on their implementation after approval.
  4. Supervising the deanships and administrative units affiliated with the Vice Presidency.
  5. Coordinating among the deanships and administrative units affiliated with the Vice Presidency to ensure integration among them and maximizes the use of available resources.
  6. Coordinating with the University’s vice presidencies, colleges, and all relevant administrative units in matters related to developing faculty members’ skills and enhancing their competencies to perform their core duties.
  7. Communicating and coordinating with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment in all matters related to development, quality, and academic accreditation.
  8. Communicating with specialized local and international bodies and institutions to benefit from their expertise in development and quality at the University.
  9. Enhancing the University’s digital infrastructure and continuously supporting electronic transactions and upgrading their level.
  10. Supervising the provision of the University’s needs for knowledge resources.
  11. Supervising the development of student activity and service plans and programs.
  12. Supervising the promotion and strengthening of the knowledge of social partnership within both the University community in particular and the local community in general.
  13. Supervising the University’s provision of free or fee-based training and educational programs for all segments of society.
  14. Enhancing the quality and scope of the University’s community partnerships and achieving their objectives of mutual enrichment.
  15. Representing the University in conferences, seminars, and local, regional, and international academic committees related to academic development and quality.
  16. Identifying the Vice Presidency’s needs for human resources, equipment, and materials, and following up on their provision.
  17. 17. Identifying the training needs of the Vice Presidency’s employees and coordinating with the relevant organizational units to meet those needs.
  18. Preparing periodic reports on the Vice Presidency’s activities and achievements, including proposals for their development, and submitting them to the University President.
