The higher education system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia receives great attention from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may Allah protect them—in recognition of the pivotal role of education in the advancement of nations and in elevating their intellectual, cultural, and knowledge capacities. Guided by this ambitious vision, King Faisal University seeks to achieve excellence and leadership in higher education by providing an academic environment that supports innovation and scientific research.

The Vice Presidency for Shared Services plays a pivotal role in advancing the University’s distinguished educational journey by managing its administrative, financial, and technical operations and preparing the University’s annual general budget. It also works to enhance campus operational efficiency and develop construction projects in support of the University’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.

As part of its continuous pursuit of development, the Vice Presidency draws on national and international expertise and experience to apply best practices across its areas of work. It seeks to achieve a qualitative transformation in its various procedures and activities in accordance with the principles of governance and operational efficiency through systematic strategic plans that contribute to supporting the University’s ambitious vision of becoming a model of innovation and excellence. This is aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy and strengthen the standing of Saudi universities at the regional and international levels.

To sum up, I affirm the Vice Presidency’s commitment to continuing its efforts in service and development, and I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to its entire employees for their dedicated efforts.
