At the beginning I would like to welcome you the visitor of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Science, the Faculty which is launched with the King Faisal University in 1395 H, it was one of the founding faculties of this university. And I would like you to allow me through a number of lines to define this Faculty in brief. The Faculty of Agricultural and Food Science has eight scientific departments of each department introduces three specialized programs, all of them grants the bachelor's degree in agricultural and food science, additionally most of these departments grant Master's degree in their specializations. The Faculty focuses in providing various programs on training in the workplace over and above the introduction of theoretical and practical lessons and field visitations. Acheiving that, the faculty has founded and built strong relations with a lot of agricultural companies distributed throughout our beloved country regions to support its training programs in various branches of Agricultural Sciences.
The Faculty is known for its great research activity and for winning a lot of huge bursaries in support for the march of scientific research in the University. Also known by the outstanding contributions in setting seminars, holding international conferences and different workshops in agricultural sciences, Not to mention the Faculty has a constant connection and close relation to the society and that is upon offering consultations, recommendations, and lectures, whether in a specialty or in general.
