Interaction with Industry
The Department of Biomedical
Engineering has formed an external advisory board of national leaders from
industry, government, and academia, who have professional expertise in
biomedical engineering and related disciplines. They share the mission of the
Biomedical Engineering Department and provide leadership to the Department by
providing guidance on the educational program, curricula, and departmental
objectives. Additionally, board members will provide assistance in identifying
career opportunities and promote the Department to the engineering community
and profession at large as well as to the public.
