About the Department
Overview
The field of computer engineering has experienced rapid growth across various industries,
making it one of the fastest-developing sectors today. Saudi Arabia has recognized the
importance of computer technology in modernizing its industries and business systems, and
has therefore given special attention to this field. To meet the labor market demands in the
Kingdom, the Department of Computer Engineering was established within the College of
Computer Science and Information Technology at King Faisal University. The department offers
comprehensive theoretical and practical programs aimed at preparing qualified computer
engineers who can keep pace with rapid technological advancements and apply them effectively
to meet the local labor market's needs.
Goals

the technical skills and expertise needed to solve real-life problems.
