Computer Engineering Department
Introduction
The field of computer engineering has experienced rapid growth across various industries, making it one of the fastest-developing sectors today. Saudi Arabia has recognized the importance of computer technology in modernizing its industries and business systems, and has therefore given special attention to this field. To meet the labor market demands in the Kingdom, the Department of Computer Engineering was established within the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at King Faisal University. The department offers comprehensive theoretical and practical programs aimed at preparing qualified computer engineers who can keep pace with rapid technological advancements and apply them effectively to meet the local labor market's needs.
Mission of the CE Program
- Equip students with the technical skills and expertise needed to solve computer engineering problems through innovation and leadership.
- Create an academic environment for conducting new research in multidisciplinary areas.
- Serve the community by establishing partnerships with local industries, government organizations, and leading global academic institutions.
CE Program Objectives
- Establish a high-quality computer engineering program that prepares students to acquire the technical skills and expertise needed to solve real-life problems.
