The Networks and Communications Department at King Faisal University aims to deliver high-quality education and training in the areas of networking and cybersecurity.
The Bachelor’s program in Computer Networks and Communications began in the academic year 2012–2013. It is internationally accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), providing students with a strong foundation in networking technologies and systems. The Master’s program in Cybersecurity was launched in the academic year 2020–2021. It aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in protecting computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The program offers a rich, multidisciplinary curriculum focusing on information security, its underlying technologies and vulnerabilities, as well as critical topics such as network security, cryptography, enterprise security analysis, legal and ethical issues, and more.
