Expected Committee Tasks

Mandatory Tasks

1.       Ensure the suitability of the PEOs, Course Outcomes, Student learning outcomes, program structure and other quality related resources

2.       Ensure that academic programs’ goals and objectiv​es are linked to the College mission and strategic priorities

3.       Ensure faculty’s quality of teaching, quality assessment methods, quality procedures for up-gradation / change in curriculum or other academic related activity

4.       Ensure teaching/learning environments that facilitate student success

5.       Ensure implementation of action plan for assessment of quality of education

6.       Provide assurances that any new program meets pre-determined standards of quality

7.       Strengthen an alignment between accreditation programs and processes

8.      Implementation and assessment of strategies to ensure that accreditation priorities are fully realized

Regular Tasks

1.       Following Assessment plan of Academic Assessment

2.       Conduct end semester presentations and chain of surveys (Alumni, Employer Survey and etc.)

3.       Perform different analysis for each semester such as Course file analysis, Rubric analysis and Exit Exam.

4.       Ensure that educational programs are following and meet the defined Accreditation standards

5.       Review of  the self-study report components

6.       Promote quality assurance keeping pace with accreditation norms

7.       Provide useful findings through different resources/procedures (assessment tools)

8.      Analysis of the findings through academic assessment

Suggested Tasks

1.       Identify the coordination between academic units for overall management of the quality assurance

2.       Analysis of institutional strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats

3.       Include appropriate mechanisms to ensure a proper follow up of assessment plans

4.       Review teaching practices

5.      Clarify the expected outcomes for students
