The Department of Preventive Dental Sciences consists of four divisions: Community Dentistry, Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Operative Dentistry. All divisions focus on providing specialized training for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) students to develop their clinical skills in the fields of periodontics, orthodontics, and operative dentistry. Students also receive field training in community dentistry, where they engage with the public to promote awareness and improve oral health care practices.
