About the Department
The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences was established to meet the curriculum requirements of the College of Dentistry and to apply the latest resources, knowledge, and technologies in the management of diseases, defects, and deformities of the oral and maxillofacial region.
The department fulfills the mission of the College of Dentistry by providing an environment that supports the education and training of future dentists, while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical research and the delivery of comprehensive care to a wide range of patients with both routine and complex clinical challenges.
Department Objectives

To provide excellent education for dental students and graduates in both basic and advanced forms of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

To deliver high-quality clinical care for patients requiring expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the College of Dentistry, King Faisal University, and the surrounding community.

To collaborate with other health professionals in providing education and patient care through an integrated team-based approach.
