Internship Program

The Internship Program at King Faisal university College of Dentistry is an educational training program of twelve (12) months duration. It primarily aims to facilitate the transition of a closely supervised undergraduate student to be an independent dental practitioner. the program will train interns on how to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and how and when to implement the various therapeutic dental treatment modalities depending on each patient's needs, considering the general health status of the patient.
The program also exposes interns to different specialties in dentistry that may help interns identify area of interest in dentistry and to supply them with adequate information related to various career options.
In addition to clinical training, the Internship Program will address the interns' responsibility towards their community. The interns will also have specific requirements in the field of scientific research.
Completion of the program is a prerequisite for the registration as a dental practitioner by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
