- Exploring the chemotherapeutic action of medicinal plants, natural, organic and inorganic compounds on life threatening diseases, e.g. cancer, diabetes.

- High-throughput enzyme inhibition screening.

- Structure-based drug discovery, crystallization of enzymes and co-crystallization with potential inhibitor.
