Definition/ Overview
The program aims to provide competencies to address animal health problems such as viral and bacterial epidemics. For this purpose, the student builds skills to help him deal easily with the sources of veterinary information from scientific journals and specialized periodicals. The program consists of theoretical lectures and practical lessons that provide vast disease vocabulary, along with field training and panel discussions to enriches professional skills.

Conditions of admission
Applicants should:
1. Comply with the unified regulations of postgraduate studies in Saudi Universities.
2. Have a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine or pharmacy, medicine, biological or biomedical sciences from KFU or any other equivalent degree from other universities recognized by the Ministry of Education.
3. Pass a personal interview.
4. Applicants who received their bachelor's degree in an undergraduate program with instruction language other than English should score at least 5.0 in IELTS or any other equivalent English test recognized by the Ministry of Education.
5. Preference is given to applicants who have gained on-work field experience in veterinary medicine.
