General controls of the teaching mechanism

• Commitment to the dates of the schedule of recording lectures in the Deanship's studios and the time limit for recording lectures.

• Commitment to the dates of attendance of direct lectures according to the schedule announced on the Deanship website, with continued follow-up schedule of lectures to see any changes in the schedule.

• Commitment to deliver duties on time and correct them to students.

• Commitment to the discussion topics on the site according to the dates of the discussions and follow-up and responses of students.

• Commitment to communicate with students and respond to their inquiries through the means of communication available on the system.

• Commitment to deliver the course content (Power point-PDF-word) on time and according to the technical specifications and the model assigned to each college.

• When changing the mobile number of the faculty member, the Deanship should be informed of the new number on which all messages and announcements will be received.

• The faculty member shall prepare the course file according to the form and requirements of the Accreditation and Evaluation Commission (NCAAA) and provide the Deanship with an electronic copy of it (Doc) or through the electronic deanship system at the end of the semester.

• The faculty member shall adhere to the office hours required by the Deanship.

• The faculty member shall abide by the curriculum approved by the academic department concerned for all the courses he teaches, taking into account the scientific developments in the specialization.It is strictly forbidden to delete any part of the course without obtaining the approval of his academic department or college.In such case, the deanship must be informed in writing.

• The faculty member is obliged to re-register the recorded lectures or direct lectures in case of any defect or emergency that requires re-registration at the discretion of the Deanship (for example, technical failures, etc.).

• Registered lectures and electronic content in all its forms and banks of test questions of all kinds are owned by King Faisal University and the University has the right to dispose of them for educational purposes and use them in the service of the University.

• The faculty member is committed to using the necessary teaching aids in the course.

• The faculty member is obliged to attend the correction sessions of the electronic tests of the courses he teaches.

• The faculty member shall abide by the dates of all activities specified by the Deanship which extend during all days of the week (morning and evening periods).

• The faculty member shall abide by all duties and obligations stipulated in the regulations of higher education and the executive and procedural rules of King Faisal University.
