The Repeated Questions about the Deanship of Scientific Research
Regarding the new system:
I tried several times to access the site of the Deanship of Scientific Research to register and send the research project which I will present, but I could not register as a new researcher?

Can I save the proposal and complete it again at another time?
Yes, you can save all the information and be completed later, before the end of the period

Regarding the research projects,
Can I apply for more than one project as a main researcher?
You cannot apply for more than a research project to the Deanship of Scientific Research as a main researcher.
Can I be a main researcher and participant in more than one research?
Yes, you can be the main researcher and you can contribute to more than one research in the same year
How much is the annual research budget?
The proposal budget does not exceed (100000) Riyal per year
for the research.
Is it possible that I consider more than two years for a research?
It is one year for the research and not to exceed two years.
What is the reward obtained by the researcher and the assistant and the others in the research project?
The reward will be given to the principal researcher , the assistant researcher and others as stated in Article XII of the Unified Rules for scientific research, namely:
Article XII:
Spending on researches funded by the University is done on its budget, whether at the initiative of the scientific researcher or the scientific specialized parties according to the approved plan and the procedures organizing the same undertaken by the scientific council within the following maximum amounts:
a. A reward of one thousand two hundred riyals (1200) per month will be given to main researcher who is a PhD holder and one thousand riyals (1000) per month for each one of the participants of faculty members and the like of PhD holders within the period specified in the basic research plan.
b. The assistant researcher, a master holder will be paid a reward of SR (30) thirty riyals per hour not to exceed (800) eight hundred riyals per month within the period specified in the basic research plan and the assistants are not to be more than three.
c. The assistant researcher of a university degree will be paid a reward of SR (25) Twenty-five riyals per hour not to exceed (600) six hundred riyals per month within the period specified in the basic research plan.
d. The researcher assistant, undergraduate students or professionals or technicians will be paid a reward of SR (20) twenty riyals per hour not to exceed (400) four hundred riyals per month within the period specified in the basic research plan.
