Procedures for Obtaining a Housing Unit

Obtaining a housing unit for a faculty member or equivalent personnel requires having a University account (username and password).

• Any person eligible under the regulations to obtain a housing unit and wishing to apply for housing must submit an application through the University's E-system. From the University Housing Administration page, select the housing unit application system and log in.
• Filling in all required fields and attaching copies of all required documents in PDF format.
• The Housing Administration shall verify the information, determine whether the applicant meets the applicable requirements, and complete the required procedures.
• The applicant will be contacted to inspect the housing unit and must notify the University Housing Administration of acceptance or rejection within a maximum of fifteen (15) days from the date of inspection; otherwise, the applicant will forfeit the right to the unit.
• The allocated housing unit shall be received after signing all required forms:
• Signing the authorization for deducting the financial dues from the employee's salary and suspending the housing allowance for contract employees, personnel of the Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as the Medical Clinics Complex.
• Signing an undertaking to comply with the University's housing terms and conditions, including moving into the allocated housing unit within a period not exceeding one month from the date of receiving the housing unit.
• Signing the housing unit handover form, which documents the condition of the unit and the integrity of its contents, and confirms receipt of the keys.
• The University Housing Administration shall send a letter to the Deanship of Faculty Affairs to deduct the housing-related financial dues from the resident's monthly salary.
