What the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences at King Faisal University has carried for over 45 years extends to a significant dimension. It places a great responsibility on us to work diligently in order to elevate this college from excellence to leadership, not only at the national level but also at the regional level. Since the establishment of the university, the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences has been one of the core colleges. With the unlimited support from successive university administrations for the college and its counterparts from other colleges. The college has worked side by side with the university's colleges to enhance the educational and research level and provide the community with high-quality graduates who can become effective members of their communities. Forty-five years of achievements, high-quality research and active participation in serving the nation and the community are a source of pride for every member associated with this college. Our aspirations and hopes are for even more success and achievements in the field of agricultural sciences. Thanks to Allah and His generosity, the college's graduates assume several high positions in both the public and private sectors. Furthermore, there is a constant demand for the college's graduates. This is clear evidence of the excellence and competence of the college's outputs, as well as the quality of the departments and programs it offers, as affirmed by numerous private company owners and government officials.
And because we at the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences are always eager to keep pace with all the new sciences and innovations in this field, and in line with the commitment of the university administration to make this college a beacon of knowledge and an oasis of science, with the launch of the university's identity in food security and environmental sustainability, it was necessary for us to renew our goals and restructure the college to align with the requirements of the era and contribute to achieving the university's identity and vision. We strive diligently to focus our strengths and what distinguishes us as an applied college in some important aspects of food security through scientific research and studies related to environmental aspects and ways of preserving and sustaining them. We are working to ensure that the programs that will be made available have a special and qualitative nature that enhances the educational process and the efficiency of the outputs.
