NEUROLOGY CURRICULUM
COURSE DURATION : 3 WEEKS CLINICAL CLERKSHIP
COURSE UNITS : 3 CREDIT HOURS
COURSE OBJECTIVES :
Through this clinical rotation and lectures, it is expected that students will
be competent to:
1.
Take
through comprehensive history in a systematic manner from the patient
2.
Perform
through neurological examination in a systematic manner
3.
Interpret
the neurological findings in the context of history and examination and present
rational differential diagnosis and management plan with justification
MODE OF TEACHING:
1.
Bedside
teaching ward rounds, lectures, tutorials, and clinical seminars
EVALUATION :
1. Continuous assessment 25%
2. Written exam 45%
3. Clinical Exam 30%

The
continuous assessment will be based on attendance, logbook and participation
in clinicopathological conferences (CPC)

The
clinical exam will be conducted at the end of the Neurology clinical
rotation.
