Activities of Department of Family & Community Medicine

1.       Teaching

Department is involved in teaching of both the traditional and new curriculum (GMCA 2012) from preparatory year to 4^th year medical students.

2.       Field Visits

Department is arranging visits of the students to primary health care centers and other offices involved in the preventive health care like Vector Control Office, TB Control Program, Tobacco Control Program/ Tobacco Cessation Clinic etc.

3.       College & University Committees

Members of the faculty are also actively involved in following committees of the college;

·         Quality Assurance Office

·         Education Research Committee

·         Biostatistics Committee

·         Mentorship Line Committee Workshop

·         Website Committee

·         Assessment Committee

Similarly the faculty members are also contributing in the following University Committees;

·         Ethics Committee of Deanship of Scientific Research

·         Executive Committee for Quality Assurance

·         Community Participation Committee
