Introduction of Internal Medicine Department
The department provides students with necessary skills and training in different fields such as cardiovascular, intensive care, endocrine and metabolism, diseases of stomach and intestine, pulmonary disorders, kidney diseases, tumors, blood, skin diseases, and infectious diseases.
Internal Medicine department participating in teaching Internal medicine for 4th, 5th and 6th years medical students (male and female).
Clinical teaching is in the KFHH while lectures may be presented in the main college building or in lectures halls in recreation center, KFHH.
Internal Medicine department qualifies students to deal with patient’s history taking, examination and using different diagnostic techniques (clinical, laboratory and imaging) with the methods of treatment and prevention.
The department focuses on linking the areas of medical knowledge with the basic knowledge of physiology, pathology, anatomical and chemical of human body.
