Research Interests:
-Bis(ruthenium-alkenyl) organometallic complexes of the general type [{Ru(CO)(L)(PiPr3)2}2(μ-CH=CH-Ar-CH=CH-)] (L= Cl- or 5- or 6-membered bidentate monoanionic chelate ligand and Ar = π-conjugated bridging arylene moiety.

- (Poly)electrochromic multinuclear ruthenium-alkenyl materials as the individual oxidations are accompanied by the growth of intense absorption bands in the near infrared (NIR) and/or the visible (Vis) regime of electromagnetic radiation.

- Quantitative determination of the degree of charge distribution or (de)localization in their one-electron oxidized, mixed-valent (MV) states.

- Catalytic activity in the selective hydrogenation of α,β-unsaturated ketones.

- Keto-enol tautomers of mixed-ligand ruthenium(II) complexes containing α-diamine and azoimine bearing alkyne group ligands.

- Redox-active π-conjugated metal-organic molecules where the organic bridge molecules constitute an integral part of a delocalized π-system.

- Organometallic molecule-based conductive material and molecular wires.

- Quantum Chemical Calculations (TD)DFT.
