Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Committee:

Objectives:

1. Contributing to achieve the objectives of the Vice Deanship concerning postgraduate studies and academic research.
2. Establishing unified strategies to organize work and to achieve integration for postgraduate studies programs at the departments of the College.

1. Coordinating the works of Postgraduate students.
2. Collaborating with the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies in all matters concerning student Affairs.
3. Developing and revising admission criteria for postgraduate studies.
4. Collaborating with the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and University Research Centers for conducting research and getting funds.
5. Encouraging and helping faculty members to submit their research proposals to the funding entities.
6. Reviewing proposals submitted by faculty members and postgraduate students to make sure that they conform to the College research priorities and its proper research approach.
7. Updating and evaluating current programs and proposing new ones.
8. Assessing research performance and academic publishing in the College.
9. Helping teaching assistants and demonstrators in getting scholarships at prestigious universities and following them up after getting scholarships.
10. Contributing to recruiting distinguished researchers.
11. Examining documents referred by the Dean to the Committee.
