The Scientific Meetings Committee undertakes the following tasks:

1- Communicating with each department through its members to gather information about distinguished researchers, assessing their interaction with various specialties, and coordinating suitable scientific meetings.

2- Liaising through the committee chair with the College's Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to obtain relevant data regarding completed research collaborations among researchers from different departments. This involves coordinating meetings with various colleges within the university in line with the nature of scientific gatherings.

3- Promoting a culture of scientific collaboration and coordinating appropriate publications to announce the intended scientific meetings.

4- Reviewing the committee's accomplishments at the end of each semester and formulating appropriate recommendations.
