PhD of Anatomy and Cell Biology
Definition/ Overview
The PhD program at King Faisal University focuses on providing students with the basics of scientific research and preparing graduates to academic position in higher education and research institutes. During the first four semesters, students receive the basics of both molecular and cell biology as well as advanced studies in traditional anatomical sciences such as gross anatomy, histology, embryology and / or neuroanatomy. Upon completion of the required modules, a supervisor will be selected to lead the PhD research project. The final two semesters are devoted to conduct the research project under guidance of the thesis supervisor.
