Second: The system of student activities
The administration is responsible for implementing and supervising various
student activities, as it is responsible for preparing them educationally,
socially, culturally, and athletically in a safe environment that provides
comfort and psychological stability for students and helps them adapt to
university education, which reflects positively on their academic excellence,
God willing. As well as emphasizing the consolidation of Islamic principles
and values and the heritage of this generous country through various lectures
and seminars.
Student activity is a group of cultural, social, artistic and sports
programs that students practice in their free time away from the classroom,
in order to grow positively towards certain goals in order to achieve them,
and students are its goal and focus.
*Vision :
Student activity should be the first outlet for students to highlight their
talents and develop their various skills.

Providing a group of cultural, social, artistic, technical and sports
activities in a way that suits all students and works to discover their
talents, develop their skills, and gain various knowledge that builds their
personalities and protects them from the risks they may face, in a safe
environment that allows them to adapt and harmonize with university life and
society.
*Objectives :
- Introducing university students to the characteristics of the Muslim
community and supporting the role of university youth in achieving the ideals
of their society and nation.
- Preparing the university student properly in intellectual, physical and
social aspects through practicing activities in various fields.
- Raising the university student’s ability to read and comprehend and open
the horizons of knowledge before him so that his culture does not stop at the
limit of the specialized book, but rather extends to include lecture,
seminar, research, competition, formation, and university theater in
accordance with the values and teachings of our Muslim society.
- Working to help the university student adapt to the group of which he is
a member, which increases his ability to establish good relations between him
and his fellow students so that he develops aspects of human behavior, which
improves human relations between them through group cooperation in their
practice of their university life.
- Conscious interaction with global civilizational developments and fields
of human knowledge and benefiting from their sources in accordance with the
teachings of Islam.
- Satisfying the desires and inclinations of the university student through
educationally and pedagogically directed practice and benefiting from the
university’s sports facilities.
- Spreading sports awareness, sports culture and health education among
university students.
- Contributing to building the university student’s integrated personality
and working to prepare him to assume responsibility and cooperate in
boldness, leadership, self-confidence, volunteerism, and enhancing belonging
to the homeland and nation.

The administration contains a group
of distinguished sports competencies that strive with all their efforts to
help students practice sports activities. The administration consists of a
general supervisor of sports activities, a director of sports activities, and
a group of competent sports supervisors and trainers.

There are places designated for
practicing sports activities, including:
Sports activities hall: It contains
places to practice billiards, table tennis, volleyball, and poker.
Bowling alley: It contains 6
lanes.
The old gym: It contains a gym, a
swimming pool and a multi-court (handball, volleyball, basketball,
tennis).
Outdoor fields: It contains (an
11-player football field, a 6-player soccer field made of artificial turf, an
athletics track, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a volleyball
court).
Electronic games hall: It contains
television screens and Sony devices.
Chess Hall: It contains chairs and
chess tables for 20 male and female students.

work among university employees; To increase the number of volunteers,
enhance quality volunteer opportunities, and institutional practices for
volunteer work; Serving the university and society through this vital sector
as a basic function of King Faisal University, and a goal of the Kingdom’s
Vision 2030 to reach one million volunteers annually.

King Faisal University carries out
its role in fulfilling the responsibility assigned to it through its
strategic plan, and its main functions that include community service, as
well as contributing to strengthening the strategic goal (3-6) “expanding the
scope of the community partnership system” of the university through
volunteer work and establishing community partnerships with entities.

University is granted to those who hold the Al-Ataa Gold Card and the Takatuf
Diamond Card, which includes a number of benefits, such as priority on
external and internal trips, promotions for employees, and priority in using
university facilities and services.
Adding points for volunteer work and
community service within the university’s admission criteria for applicants
to undergraduate and graduate programs or to jobs offered on the university’s
website.
Launching the His Excellency the
President of the University Award initiative specializing in the fields of
volunteer work as the best volunteer initiative and the highest number of
hours recorded on the volunteer work platform for university employees; To
enhance the role of ongoing student competitions throughout the academic
year.
Honoring the distinguished
volunteers and winners of His Excellency the University President’s Award for
Volunteer Work initiative at the university’s annual meeting in conjunction
with the Saudi and International Volunteer Work Day in exchange for their
effective contribution to serving the university and society.
