Admission requirements for postgraduate students
Pledge and commitment to the instructions for electronic admission procedures at King Faisal University
Important notice: Please review the admission conditions for the academic year 1446 AH, knowing that noting the acknowledgment is equivalent to an electronic signature that you have read all the instructions and agree to them, and you have no right to object to that.
The current portal is designated for Saudi citizens, and as for international students (external and internal scholarships), they can apply through the international admission portal (postgraduate studies portal).
When applying to the admission portal for postgraduate students, an administrative fee is collected and deposited in the event of final acceptance amounting to (200) riyals + tuition fees.
The fee for one hour of study in the master’s and doctoral stages is (1,500) Saudi riyals only.
*Instructions for admission to postgraduate studies for admission to the university
The following requirements are required for admission to postgraduate studies in general through this portal:
The applicant must be a Saudi.
The applicant must have a university degree from a Saudi university or another recognized university (attaching the university degree equivalency (non-Saudi university) from the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before the start of the academic year).
He must submit two academic recommendations from professors who previously taught him.
Approval of the work reference for the study if he is an employee.
The principle of studying a doctorate is full-time, and the University Council may make an exception to this whenever the need arises.
Doctoral stage
Admission to the doctoral level is required to obtain at least a grade of “very good” in the master’s level if it is from a university that grants it with a grade. The Permanent Committee for Postgraduate Studies, based on the recommendation of the Department Council and the approval of the College Council, may add other conditions that it deems necessary for admission.
Master's degree
For admission to the Master’s level, the student must obtain at least a grade of “Very Good” at the undergraduate level. The Standing Committee for Postgraduate Studies may make an exception to the average requirement based on the recommendations of the Department and College Councils.
The Standing Committee for Postgraduate Studies, based on the recommendation of the Department Council and the approval of the College Council, may add other conditions it deems necessary for admission.
Diploma stage
For admission to the diploma stage, the student must obtain at least a grade of (good) at the university stage. In addition to the admission conditions stated.

Now, if you wish to apply for admission to the university for the academic year 1446 AH, you must indicate your approval in front of the declaration below.
