Warehouse management is considered one of the important departments in any government facility in general, and it is one of the links in the administrative system to the university sectors in particular. The primary role of warehouse management is to preserve and manage the various items that the university purchases and keeps, whether they are permanent items (fixed assets ) or varieties It supplies all sectors of the university with needs related to furniture, appliances, and stationery and office tools, according to the mechanisms used in disbursement operations.
The warehouse administration is also responsible for implementing the provisions, rules and procedures of government warehouses, supervising warehouse work, coordinating with other university departments in estimating its annual needs for different items, arranging, preserving and maintaining the items according to methods appropriate to the nature of each item and providing means of safety and security in the warehouses.
In view of the great development and expansion of our beloved university, the warehouse management has had a share of development in its work and concept, and the warehouse work has expanded so that it now covers all colleges, deanships, support deanships and various administrations, as well as the Abqaiq Community College, in a way that ensures continuity that the educational process is not affected.
