Speech of the University Vice President for Academic Affairs
Praise be to God who taught with the pen, taught man what he did not know, and may blessings and peace be upon the most honorable Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah and upon his family and all his companions and beyond.
The University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs is one of the agencies upon which the university is based in achieving its vision and mission, which are based on: providing future-oriented education, stimulating research for development and change, and community partnership that achieves mutual enrichment and sustainable business development. The University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs received special support and attention from His Excellency the University President, may God protect him. Which emphasized the interest of our rulers, may God protect them, in nurturing the academic process, developing it, improving its outcomes, and keeping up with everything new in it at the local and international levels.
The agency’s tasks stem from three main axes: the student, the faculty member, and the academic programs. The agency undertakes scientific and academic supervision of the university’s associated colleges and takes measures that ensure good performance by paying attention to the student, providing him with the appropriate educational environment, and providing all his needs related to achievement. Academic, the agency also takes care of faculty members and carries out all work related to contracting with non-Saudi faculty members and those of the like. To achieve the maximum benefit and make the educational process successful in order to obtain distinguished outcomes.
To this end, the agency is keen to develop academic performance at the level of the agency and its supporting colleges and deanships through continuous review of study plans and academic programs in accordance with what development plans and labor market needs require in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and keeping pace with the requirements of the Academic Evaluation and Accreditation Commission to achieve the highest academic standards to improve services. Provided to all beneficiaries and achieving excellence in teaching and learning.
