It is a great pleasure to welcome you all to the homepage of the Water Studies Center (WSC), King Faisl University, Al Hassa Governorate. As Scientists in the field of water resources, we are searching out to the rest of the world, we expect more interchanges with others either as scientists in the field of water resources or as friends from every corner of the earth. We hope that through this window, the Water Studies Center, King Faisl University looks more familiar to you, even if it is far way from you. The Water Studies Center started at 1982 as a center of King Faisl University, The diverse scientific and research fields in the center are: Remote sensing, Applied Geophysics, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Geographic Information System (GIS), Soil and Water sciences, Water management and Desalination. The center has the priority in the research plans of the water problems in arid regions as we are located in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia.

Research activities are presented by five staff members and two assistant technicians. Administrative and technical services are offered by over 3 employees and workers.
