King Faisal University, gives special attention to the support of society either represented by governmental or private sectors. For this particular reason, the University has established several specialized research units and centers. These units and centers were provided by expert consultants and skilled operators, as well as by recent laboratories and equipments. As a result, they become the heart of the scientific research activities and consultation work proposed by faculty members and graduate students. From here came the idea of establishing the Unit of Scientific Studies and Engineering Services at the Faculty of Engineering. The main objective is to have a specialized unit in conducting consultancy and research related to solving actual problems of industrial and engineering sectors as well as environmental problems, and to cover training needs in various engineering disciplines. |
