Unit tasks

•  Financial supervision of entities with independent resources.
• Applying the systems, regulations and rules governing the relevant entities.
•  Implementing the general policies of the university with regard to self-resources.
•  Storing all financial transactions in the archive system in a way that facilitates referring to any transaction upon request.
• Performing all auditing, liaison, disbursement, reviewing and repaying advances, and keeping books and records according to the applicable systems, regulations, instructions and orders.
• Coordinating with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Higher Education to transfer the dues of the university's scholarship recipients from the item concerned with the university's budget to the Ministry of Higher Education to be disbursed to the students at their mission headquarters abroad.
•  Implementing the financial systems and regulations and following up on the movement of budget items, noting the verification of the integrity of financial procedures and not exceeding the budget appropriations.
•  Preparing accounts and financial reports Necessary (final account, monthly account and financial statements).
• Preparing bank reconciliation statements and revenues.
•  Receiving bank guarantees and keeping them until the award procedures are completed and then returning them to their owners.
• Carrying out collection procedures and disbursement procedures to fulfill the university's obligations.
•  Participating in preparing the university's general budget project and following up on its implementation after its approval by the ministry in coordination with the relevant units at the university to achieve compatibility and integration in this field.
• Preparing notes on the application of financial systems and appropriate accounting methods and collecting, recording, classifying, analyzing and changing data.
• Preparing periodic reports on the administration's activities, achievements and proposals for developing its work.
• Carrying out periodic inventory work of the fund and preparing minutes thereof.
