The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics

The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) was established in 1922 in Brussels with 13 Member countries and the first General Assembly was held in 1923 in Paris. The aims of the Union are: to stimulate and promote international cooperation in physics; to sponsor suitable international meetings and to assist organizing committees; to foster the preparation and the publication of abstracts of papers and tables of physical constants; to promote international agreements on other use of symbols, units, nomenclature and standards; to foster free circulation of scientists; to encourage research and education. 

The International Astronautical Federation

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is an international non-governmental and non-profit organization, founded in 1951. The Federation encourages the advancement of knowledge about space and the development and application of space assets for the benefit of humanity. It plays an important role in disseminating information, and in providing a significant worldwide network of experts in the development and utilization of space.

Union Radio-Scientifique Internationale

Radio science encompasses the knowledge and study of all aspects of electromagnetic fields and waves. The International Union of Radio Science (Union Radio-Scientifique Internationale), a non-governmental and non-profit organisation under the International Council for Science, is responsible for stimulating and co-ordinating, on an international basis, studies, research, applications, scientific exchange, and communication in the fields of radio science.
 

International Mathematical Union

Inter - Islamic Network on Space Sciences and Technology

Inter - Islamic Network on Space Sciences and Technology (ISNET) is an inter - state, non political and non profit making agency. It is an independent, autonomous and self governing institution under the umbrella of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Conference) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH). SUPARCO is the host organisation of ISNET.
 

The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology
