Developing skills, providing, and coordinating research capabilities in addition to supporting, managing, and following up of the strategic Science and technology projects in the university efficiently to achieve the University's goals.
Goals:
1. Spreading research culture and introducing the comprehensive National Plan for Science and Technology to faculty.
2. Raising the level of qualitative and quantitative contribution of the university to the comprehensive National Plan for Science and Technology.
3. Presenting scientific consultation to researchers in order to guarantee the quality of their research proposals, and their matching to the goals of the National Plan for Science and Technology.
4. Administrative and technical supervision of the national Plan for Science and Technology Projects in the university.
5. Working as the connection point with the comprehensive National Plan for Science and Technology Secretariat.
