Dear visitor,
In
the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
I am pleased to welcome you to
the College of Engineering at King Faisal University, which was established in
the year 2009. Since then, the college has adhered to its passionate vision,
which is “excellence in engineering education, scientific research, and
engineering partnerships at all levels locally and regionally,”.
The college provides a rich
educational foundation for the students and excellent environment research for
faculty members. In addition, we aim at creating partnerships with various
industrial sectors to reduce the gap between industry and academia in a way to
contribute to the university’s identity and support our community by building
national cadres that can be relied upon to achieve the goals of our nation and
drive us toward the fabulous 2023 vision.
The college have five
undergraduate programs: Electrical Engineering, Civil and Environmental
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Biomedical
Engineering, in addition to two graduate programs in Electrical Engineering and
Mechanical Engineering.
To ensure that graduates meet
the educational requirements necessary for labor market need, the College of
Engineering is proud to have its five undergraduate programs accredited by the
American Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) until the
year of 2026.
The college's mission is not
only limited to preparing students to enter the labor market but extended
beyond their graduation by providing them with the necessary professional
certification and soft skills, which qualifies them for leadership in the
fields of engineering creativity and innovation committed to professional
ethics. The College of Engineering is also proud of its graduates who are
highly competitive in the market and hold leadership positions in many
companies.
Here I wish you to spend an
enjoyable time browsing the college’s website, as the website contains several
important information for students, as well as for you.
