The Dean of College Medicine, Dr. Waleed AlbuAli met the new and the current faculty on Wednesday 29^th , Augest, 2012, in the presence of their Excellencies Vice Deans of College of Medicine: Dr. AbdulRahman Al-Sultan - Vice Dean for Academic Affairs; Dr. AbdulRahman Al-Molhem - Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs; and, Dr. Nouriya Al-Muhaidib Vice Dean for Female student Affairs.

Dr. Waleed AlbuAli congratulated the new academic year for all faculty members joined the university and expressed his happiness and pride to embrace this elite of nationals and neighboring nations.

He provides briefings about College' objectives and perspectives, aspirations and current plans. Then, reviewed the standards of building a new vision in lights of challenges associated with the objectives and purposes of application of new medical curriculum of University of Groningen. He highlights the developments over the college strategic  plan and its alignment to King Faisal University strategy for the purposes of  empowering scientific research fields; quality of graduates, through faculty development and student service strategies. He emphasizes that the College of Medicine is currently striving to achieve excellence in teaching and learning, scientific research; and, generate health services to satisfy stackholders expectations.
