Dr. Tarek Amin is a member of the College of Medicine since 2004. Dr Amin is a prominent researcher with vast experience in the field of epidemiology, Public health and biostatistics with several international publications. Dr Amin is a reviewer in more than 20 international peer reviewed journals and on the editorial board of three international journals. Community-based researches that tackling health and health-related behaviors with especial emphasis on non-communicable diseases is the major interest for his research activities. Dr. Ali Rawabdeh has been a member of the College of Medicine since 2009. He is a nationally prominent health services researcher, best known for his studies of access to various forms of Health economics, health planning and management. In recent years, much of his work has focused on e-health and the health quality assurance. Between 2001 and 2007, he served as Principal Investigator for six major surveys examining health insurance circumstances, Health care cost containment Strategies, and Health care system privatization in Jordan, wastes in the Jordanian health care system, e-health trend plan for the Jordanian health care subsystem, and policy and health in Jordan. Dr. Rawabdeh has published widely, including articles in such prominent journals as The International Journal for Health Planning and Management, and The International Journal for Health Care Quality Assurance, Arab Journal for Administration, and The International Journal for Public and Private Partnership. Between 2001, 2008, the joint department’s graduate students at Yarmouk University and Dublin University - UK, selected Dr. Rawabdeh as a tutor for the Masters Levels. Dr Waseem Suleman
Dr. Waseem Suleman (E-mail: suleman3@hotmail.com) Assistant Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine. Dr Suleman is primarily a Family physician and is a departmental flag bearer in collaborative undergraduate teaching with other departments. After completing accredited residency training from Royal College of General Practitioners UK, at The Aga Khan University, Dr Suleman developed special interest in learners. He was the youngest participant in series of courses designed by RCGP UK for examiners of MRCGP International. With learners as a major interest and innovative skills of learning enhancer, Dr Suleman joined King Faisal University (KFU) and was one of the most active member who developed the trial course incorporating Problem Based Learning (PBL) as an instruction method for 4th year medical students. Over five years PBL was found a successful technique and KFU decided to expand it across whole curriculum. He is an advisor for regional Family Medicine Diploma program and an acclaimed speaker for myriad of training programs organized by Primary Health Care division of Alahsa. (Full CV)
