Objectives of the Department
The objectives of the Education Department are derived from the objectives of the university in general especially from the objectives of the Faculty of Education and they are as follows:
- Contributing in providing the student teacher's with knowledge about the foundations of education and psychology
- Providing the student teacher's with assets and the principles of educational and psychological researches.
1- Contributing in raising the efficiency of workers in the field of education of school administrators and supervisors and education counselors through the latest educational and psychological novelties as well as in the field of counseling through courses and training courses held by the department.
2- Upgrading the scientific, professional and cultural levels of teacher student and workers in the field of education.
3- Developing the skills of scientific research in the field of education and psychology for graduate students.
4- Research and scientific studies in the field of specialization and provide technical advice to individuals and centers, and various institutions in the field of education, psychology and psychological counseling.
5- Participating in the study of educational problems and managing to remedy them.
