The E-Learning Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences is committed to advancing the use of modern educational technologies to enrich teaching and learning experiences. The Unit oversees the effective integration of platforms such as Blackboard to uphold instructional quality and improve student learning outcomes. It also provides technical support and training for faculty and students, while issuing regular performance reports to inform strategic educational development.​
Objectives:​

1.    Monitor and evaluate the implementation of e-learning platforms across the college.

2.     Provide faculty and students with guidance and support in utilizing digital learning tools.

3.     Enhance the quality of instruction in courses delivered through blended and distance learning modalities.

4.     Foster digital literacy and competency among college personnel.

5.     Support academic departments in administering online quizzes, discussions, and assignments via Blackboard.

6.     Generate periodic reports detailing performance indicators and development needs.

Key Responsibilities:​

• Track platform engagement and analyze usage data to identify areas for improvement.
• Organize training workshops and development sessions for faculty members.
• Oversee the timely updating of e-learning materials, including lectures and assessments.
• Prepare comprehensive quarterly and annual reports on the status and progress of e-learning within the college.
