Many MBA programs being offered by different Universities, however, the MBA program proposed by the College of Management Sciences and Planning (CMSP) of King Faisal University, is carefully designed to provide students with specific tools and knowledge required to qualify graduates for occupying high administrative posts, as successful professional managers. The proposed program is expected to have the highest rate of return on the invested time, efforts, and funds by its graduates.
CMSP MBA program has two distinguished features:
First, the program allows students to major in one industry, rather than majoring in one of the management fields (Production, Marketing, Accounting, …etc,), as traditionally being the case in other programs. According to its significance to the Saudi economy and other economies of the Gulf states, industries available for majoring include: Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Tourism, Health Services, Insurance and Banking, Real Estate, Information Technology and Logistic Sectors.
Second, the proposed MBA program is globally oriented. In all courses, the global impacts on business environment, is a corner stone, in addition “International Management” will be offered as a compulsory course in the program. In this respect, the College will establish academic partnerships with prominent international universities that allow the program students to study some major courses in these universities. Moreover, the College is going to recruit the academic staff for this program form different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Acceptance to the program will be offered to Saudi students, and to students from other countries, especially from the GCC States.
The MBA at CMSP is designed for ambition individuals who are willing to make significant contributions to management at a strategic level in their organization, for those who desire strongly to improve their skills and enrich their knowledge.
