University Transfer
Transfer from outside the university:
The college admission conditions should be applied on the transferred student who wants to transfer to it in the same transfer year. He should have spent at least two semesters at the university he was transferred from. Also, his GPA when transferred should not be less than (3 of 5) for the university colleges and (3.75 of 5.0) for the Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences (Medicine). The student should present a Transfer Form before the beginning of the semester he wants to transfer to by at least eight weeks.
Transfer from inside the university:
The college admission conditions should be applied on the transferred student in the same transfer year. He should have spent at least two semesters at the college he was transferred from. Also, his GPA should not be less than (2 of 5) and he should present a Transfer Form before at least six weeks before the beginning of the semester. He should also prove in his academic record all the courses he studied previously which includes the assessments and the quarterly and cumulative averages during his whole study in the university – in addition to the terms determined by the concerned College Board.
Transfer from a specialty to another within the college:
The transferred student should meet the enrollment terms of the specialty he wants to transfer to. The transfer should be for only one time during the studying period in the university. All the courses studied should be proved in the student’s academic record including the assessments and the quarterly and cumulative averages during his whole study in the university, all the studied courses would be calculated in the GPA.
The visitor student:
Is the one who study some of the courses in another university or a branch of the university that he belongs to without transferring him, and the materials he studied would be equalized according to the approval of the college he is studying in before studying. The study should be in a recognized college or university, the course that the student studies outside the university should be compatible with one of the courses that are included in the graduation requirements, the courses’ averages that are equalized are not calculated for the visitor student within his GPA.
